Carleton Cottages - Sally's Cottage: A delightful one bedroom cottage offered for holiday close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the town of Skipton.

Located in the tranquil village of Carleton, around two miles from the market town of Skipton, Sally’s Cottage is a delightful mid terrace cottage overlooking a beck, and ideal for couples seeking a peaceful retreat. The cottage is traditional, and benefits from a light garden room at the first floor which overlooks the pretty garden.

The cottage provides an ideal base for those wishing to explore the surrounding area and the village benefits from a pub serving bar meals, shop, butchers and post office.

Skipton is a short drive away complete with Norman Castle standing proudly at the head of the high street, along with an excellent selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. An excellent outdoor market on the cobbled setts runs four days a week.

The Leeds to Liverpool Canal can be easily accessed and is ideal for a stroll or cycle along the towpath. Skipton is otherwise known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’ and towns such as Grassington, Malham and Bolton Abbey are all within a short drive.

For those wishing to venture further afield, the spa town of Harrogate and historic York are around an hour away.
