Salou is a popular 'package holiday' destination, and most would agree that it has suffered somewhat from its popularity with over development being rife, it however remains a sought after destination and has a lively nightlife scene and an excellent choice of facilities and amenities, including the nearby Port Aventura theme park, a great family entertainment complex. Salou also boasts some fine beaches, with numerous 'Blue Flag' status beaches in the immediate region.
Salou can be reached via the C-31b and from the AP-7 and A-7 motorways, it is situated approximately 12 km from Reus airport.
