Torrevieja is a busy coastal resort in the province of Alicante, on the Costa Blanca, Spain. It has been a popular area for the purchase of holiday homes and for relocation. The recession of 2008 and 2009 has caused a decline in property development in the area.
Torrevieja can be accessed from the N-332 coast road and from the AP-7 motorway.
