Fakenham Map: Detailed street map of Fakenham, a market town and parish which lies beside the River Wensum, to the north-west of Norwich, in the county of Norfolk in east Anglia. Fakenham is well known for its National Hunt racecourse.

Fakenham has a population of just over 7,000 and has been a market town since the 13th century. A settlement since the times of the Anglo Saxons, it was only a small community of 150 when the Domesday Boook was compiled in 1086.

Also on this Fakenham map is the village of Hempton, on the other side of the River Wensum, and the main roads of Fakenham including the A148, Wells Road, Highfield Road, Greenaway Lane, Holt Road, Norwich Road, Hempton Road and William Road.

Fakenham Racecourse is located to the south of the town on the other side of the River Wensum, take the Hempton Road from the town and turn off by the Fakenham Golf Club.

Fakenham can be accessed from the A148 or the A1065, it is around 24 miles from the city of Norwich.
