Located on the south coast of Cornwall, the town and port of Falmouth has a population of over 20,000 and is renowned for its harbour, one of the deepest natural harbours in the world. A historic port, Falmouth was where Henry VIII built Pendennis Castle to defend the harbour. Falmouth is now a popular holiday destination with a good range of guest houses and holiday accommodation.
