A pretty little market town in Buckinghamshire's Chiltern Hills, Chesham has a population of around 20,000. Though settled much earlier, Chesham was first documented in 970 and was recorded in the Domesday Book (1089) as Caestreham. These days a popular commuter town, Chesham has underground rail links with central London.
Chesham can be reached via the A416, it lies to the north of Amersham.
