Skipton Map Yorkshire: A detailed street map of Skipton, a town and parish to the north-west of Bradford and Leeds, in the county of North Yorkshire. Skipton is located on the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Often called the 'Gateway to the Dales', Skipton is ideal for accessing the Dales and the towns of Malham, Grassington and Bolton Abbey. A pleasant way to spend a few hours is to stroll along the nearby Leeds and Lverpool Canal.

A popular base for travellers visiting the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Skipton has a good selection of holiday cottages which are available to rent in the town.

Skipton can be reached by rail, or via the A65 or A629, it is about 18 miles from Bradford, 27 miles from Leeds, 42 miles from York, and a driving distance of 222 miles from London.
