Chester-le-Street's really well connected, making it popular with commuters. The A1(M) runs right past the town, putting both Newcastle and Durham within easy reach. The train station sits on the East Coast Main Line with regular services north and south, so getting to London, Edinburgh, York or Newcastle is a doddle.
