Bordon lies on the eastern edge of Hampshire bordering Surrey and is surrounded by heath- and woodland making it a 'greener' place than you would think. The British Army influenced Bordon heavily for many years and it played a huge part of many people’s day-to-day lives via the army camps that once occupied Bordon. Although there have been many changes in Bordon over the last few years, remnants of this military history can still be seen in the local area.
