Modbury is a small town that is part of the South Hams area in Devon, England and is located in the countryside between Plymouth, Kingsbridge, and Ivybridge. With a population of about 1500 people, the town has a long historical significance and the locality was also home to the battles taking place during the English Civil War in the 1640s. The town has a largely village character. The A379 runs through Modbury and connects the town to Plymouth and Kingsbridge.
