North Baddesley is located between Southampton and Romsey, and has developed into a fairly large village over the years but retains its quiet residential character. It has much history leading back to Saxon times, and was a rural landscape developed by farmers for centuries prior to the emergence of modern housing during the 20th century. The approximate population is 7000, and with the ease of commuting to Southampton without living in the city centre has created a growth in this area. The facilities include excellent schools, parks and pubs, and there are a number of attractions nearby, including the famous gardens and artwork at Mottisfont, Broadlands and the New Forest. There are also several historical sites, including Romsey Abbey and King John's House, nearby. With Southampton Airport (20 minute drive) and rail connections available from Romsey and Southampton Parkway, you will not have any problems getting to where you need to go.
