Kingsclere is located in North Hampshire, and lies adjacent to Berkshire border. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Kingsclere is a large village with a very rural feel, thanks to its historic architecture (going back to the time of Saxons and how it was originally developed by merchants as a stopover along many trade routes across the county). Today, Kingsclere's population is approximately 4,500, and it boasts a strong sense of community spirit through its wide range of independent shops, traditional pubs, and year-round community events. Close to Kingsclere are destinations such as Watership Down and North Wessex Downs for walking and the wonderful open countryside. Also within easy reach is Highclere Castle, which is extremely popular with visitors. The Bombay Sapphire Distillery and The Vyne are both easily accessible from Kingsclere.
