Grayshott is located right on the Hampshire and Surrey borders and is surrounded by woods and heathland, making it feel serene and leafy throughout the whole year. In the Victorian Era, Grayshott began to grow as a popular health resort due to its fresh air and countryside, and has since developed into a thriving residential community with a great sense of togetherness. Approximately 4,000 people live here, although the town is adjacent to larger towns like Haslemere it still feels somewhat secluded. There are many independent shops, cafes, and pubs, not to mention there are lots of walking paths around here, especially around the Devil's Punch Bowl and Hindhead Common, both managed by the National Trust. In addition, the South Downs National Park is a short distance away. You can expect good transport links for a village like Grayshott, with the A3 close by, rail services from Haslemere and Liphook and Heathrow Airport approximately one hour away depending on traffic conditions.
