Headley Down lies right next to the Surrey boundary, between Bordon & Haslemere, and is a village that is bordered by woodland & heath, providing a peaceful & secluded feeling when in the village. The majority of Headley Down was developed throughout the 20th Century due to an influx of people coming from larger towns. Although it's now a small, quiet village, with about 4000 inhabitants, it was originally a farming community that also had common land surrounding it.

Headley Down is very popular with those wanting to take country walks & /or enjoy life at a relaxed pace but not are completely isolated. Nearby are places like The Devil's Punch Bowl and Alice Holt Forest, & attractions are Uppark House and the historic village of Selborne. The South Downs National Park is also close by.

The area has fairly good transport links to various a number of areas e.g. The road network is provided by the A3; Liphook & Haslemere provide rail services, & both Heathrow and Southampton airport can be reached without too much trouble depending on traffic .
