Staplehurst is a friendly, semi-rural town in the heart of Kent, surrounded by wide-open countryside and orchards. Staplehurst station offers a straightforward commute to London Charing Cross and Cannon Street, making it a popular base for commuters. The A229 links the town to Maidstone and Hastings, and drivers can pick up the M20 or M25 with relative ease. Gatwick is the closest airport – about 45 minutes by car – so jetting off isn't a headache. Regular buses also serve nearby villages and towns, so getting around locally is simple enough, even if you don't drive.
