Angmering is an expansive village located in West Sussex, situated midway between Littlehampton and Worthing, conveniently located between the coast and South Downs, offering a mixture of country charm and daily convenience. The original village dates back to Saxon period, and there are still flint cottages, village greens, and historic buildings from the period scattered throughout its centre giving it an authentic feel of Sussex, without being overly contrived. Today Angmering has a population of approximately 10,000, with continued growth due to good transport connections, plus the local access to the coast. Angmering railway station connects directly to London, Brighton and Portsmouth, plus the road network via A27 allows for generally simple car travel. Many walkers also use pathways to access South Downs National Park or coastal areas towards Littlehampton and Ferring. When visiting the area, with opinion it is likely you will come across several National Trust sites that include Cissbury Ring, Slindon Estate, and Petworth House; while an English Heritage preference will see an expectation of visitors looking to see the Historic Sites of Arundel Castle and Bramber Castle. Locally; there are numerous cafés, pubs, schools, and sports clubs contributing to the vibrancy of the village and enabling the village to maintain its relaxed, slightly 'old-fashioned' atmosphere.

We hope you found this Angmering tourist map useful for your visit to the area.
