A large community of Yapton, West Sussex is approximately midway between Arundel, Littlehampton, and Bognor Regis. The village has retained much of its initial character although there have been many new residential developments expanding onto the coastal plains. The Saxon roots of Yapton are reflected in St. Mary’s Church, one of the oldest buildings in the area, and there are currently around 6000 residents. Yapton also has a railway station with service connections to Littlehampton, Brighton, and London.
